Dear French citizens in the UK,
In 2016, young British people voted overwhelmingly against Brexit, yet many did not turn out.
Today, it is the 18-25s who pay the highest price: less freedom to study abroad, more complications when travelling, more fragile rights and the feeling that others made the decision for them.
That is exactly what happens when our generation does not vote.
From 22 to 27 May online, and on 31 May at polling stations, French citizens living abroad will have the opportunity to elect the Conseillers and Conseillères des Français de l'étranger who will represent them for the next six years, and who will in turn elect our Senators.
These elections are about far more concrete issues than they might seem: social protection, university fees, recognition of diplomas, internships and mobility, studies in France or in the UK.
At the same time, the far right and reactionary forces are threatening to seize power across the world, at both national and local level, and the UK and France are no exception.
With Justice et Solidarité, we offer a radically different vision: a social, European and ecologist vision for a generation that wants to live, study, work and move freely between France, the UK and the EU.
This election will be decided by a handful of votes, so make yours count and elect Conseillers and Conseillères who truly represent you.
